crane lift.
Note: not many panels
can be produced above 16 tonne due to storage restrictions.
Maximum storage = up to 700 units depending on type and size.
Transport Limits:
Load rate = 1 unit loaded / 15 minutes with maximum 2 units
loaded at one time.
Maximum width = 3.9m for drop deck trailer.
Maximum width = 3.0m for flat top trailer.
Maximum width = 2.5m for units transported flat.
Note: other sizes possible
if permit available however, times for transport may
impact greatly on job cost.
Maximum length = 11m for drop deck trailer.
Maximum length = 14m for flat top trailer.
Maximum length = > 14m for extendables.
Max payload = 22 - 24 tonne for tri axle trailers.
Answer
for Question three
Q3.Can IPGroup produce
special moulds for complex shapes?

A. IPGroup can provide
a large range of finishes. However, polished concrete &
sandblasted finishes can only be provided in small areas as
we do not currently have equipment to mass produce these.

Answer
for Question seven
Q7.What does precast
cost?
A. There are many factors
which will effect the price of a precast unit and hence, this
answer cannot be quantified without some job specific information.
Please contact our sales department for more info. Precast
systems provide a competitive construction alternative.
Answer
for Question eight
Q8.How do i build precast
efficiency into my project?
A. Things to consider:
Minimise the number of units & maximise the size.
Note: for flat panels
such as used in industrial developments an efficiency target
would be 11 tonnes / panel. This allows for best transport
& handling efficiencies.
Maximise the number of repeat panels if possible, especially
if complex moulds are required.
Minimise the number of installation operations required to
erect the total structure.
Allow for adequate accessibility during all stages of construction,
especially for post- installation works such as prop removal,
caulking, patching & finishing. This is often underestimated
and can cause unnecessary costs to be incurred.
Any cost efficient precast project will require adequate
design and
planning time.
Arrange precast early and consult your supplier before committing
to any details on the project that affect the precast.
Answer
for Question nine
Q9.Does IPGroup produce
standard precast products?
A. Yes, but only small
products such as carstops, planters and fencing etc. Most
of our
products are job specific and sold prior to manufacture.

Q10.What advantages can
i expect when using precast concrete?
